City of Crystal Lake, is excited to offer residents an easy and convenient method to view and pay their Utility bills online.

Starting June 1st, 2024, the City of Crystal Lake will no longer absorb the credit/debit card transaction fees charged by the merchant processor for all card payments.  The transaction fee will be added to all online & autopay transactions made with a credit or debit card.  The transaction fee is 2.95% with a $2.95 minimum.  Fees are remitted directly to the City’s payment processing agent, not the City of Crystal Lake.

You may avoid the transaction fee by paying directly from your bank account by entering your bank routing number and bank account number (ACH / EFT / e-check) as this payment type remains free of charge.  You can also sign up for the City’s direct debit program.  For this program, the City will auto deduct your utility bill payment from a checking or savings account on the due date.  The form for direct debit can be found on the City of Crystal Lake’s website, www.crystallake.org.

You may also make a payment by phone or check your account balance 24/7 with our automated phone service. Call (844) 591-0235.
