New Utility Billing Portal! The City of Mercer Island is pleased to announce that the Utility Billing Portal is now live. Using your account number, create an account login on the new site – then dive in! You can track hourly water use, set up leak alerts and notifications, and pay your bill online. You can access the new portal by clicking the ‘Utility Payment’ button above or by visiting http://www.mercerisland.gov/utilityportal.

Utility Billing Manual.
 On May 6, 2025, the Mercer Island City Council adopted a new Utility Billing Manual.  The new manual includes billing information and guidelines in one place with clear expectations, resources, and billing practices for customers. To read the manual and find other utility billing resources, visit the City’s website at www.mercerisland.gov/finance.
